Kirstenhof falls in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town in the Western Cape, set against the spectacular backdrop of the Constantiaberg Mountain, with the ocean and the famous vineyards of Constantia only a few kilometres away. Nearby wine farms include Constantia Glen, Steenberg Vineyards, Constantia Uitsig, Klein Constantia, Buitenverwachting, and Groot Constantia. Some of these have award-winning restaurants attached to them to complete the culinary experience to perfection. 

The residential suburb of Kirstenhof is centrally situated near to a number of shopping centres, restaurants and tourist-friendly facilities. Neighbour to Tokai, Kirstenhof shares a similar laid-back suburban feel, while being only about 20 minutes from the City Bowl of Cape Town and a little over half an hour from the Cape Town International Airport. 

Kirstenhof is characteristic for the different types of properties spreading from smaller family homes, lock up and go’s through to retirement developments. 
Kirstenhof is an excellent gateway suburb as residents have the amenities and lifestyle of neighbours like Constantia, but at a more affordable price range. If offers families and outdoor enthusiasts several options, with a choice of numerous wetlands that make up greenbelts, scenic hiking trails, access to nearby golf clubs and Muizenberg beach which is just a short drive away. 

Kirstenhof Primary School is a very sought after school in the area and as a result of school zoning, many families seek to live in the Kirstenhof area to secure a position at the school. The Blue Route Mall is nearby and is equipped with around 120 shops and abuzz with excitement and top-notch shopping opportunities. This mall is a fabulous spot for dining, shopping and entertainment. 

Westlake Business Park is also at its door step and there is easy access to the M3 freeway for commuters to town.
